This wall mount put the TV closer to the wall than any other the others. It was exactly what I was looking for. There is very little room behind the TV though so you have to make sure your plug will fit and getting your hand back there is near impossible. It took 3 people to hand the TV (2 to hold and one to hook & lock). Now that it is set up it is great though.

This product is simple to install. It is well built and should last forever. I considered buying the cheaper model because it was rated to handle the weight of my 50" Samsung Plasma, but I decided to go for overkill with this unit and I'm glad that I did. It fits the tv well and I have confidence that it will hold this heavy tv to the wall for years to come. Since it holds the item so close to the wall, the cables are kinked, but they still work fine. I would recommend this product to anyone.

I was very impressed with the product, especially at the cheap price for the mount (until I checked it at Best Buy - twice as much!). Although I was very skeptical since this was my first LCD TV mounting and a 52", $3k one at that, the instructions were easy to follow and mounting was a breeze. One lesson I did learn, make sure you have a third person around to plug in any HDMI/coax cables or the power cord before you finally hang and lock the TV on the wall - there is VERY little wiggle room to reach those inserts once the TV is mounted. Took less than 40 minutes to measure, level, and mount the TV! Great product, heavy and durable...a definite must-buy at this price!

To those searching for mounts:

Look at the MF202 mount (2" profile vs 3" profile) for more reviews, the majority of which are favorable:

Having said that: With many mounts, the manufacturer overrates their capacity with regards to weight/size. Don't buy a max 37" mount for a 37" tv. And certainly not for a 42" tv...

I am using this on a 42" Toshiba LCD and it just will not hold up the TV no matter how tight I make the adjustment. After a few hours it is tilted downward.

I had been looking for a really secure way to hang my 40 inch Sony LCD, but was anxious to find something I could trust, yet be unobstrusive.

The sanus in wall unit fits the bill! I'm not terribly mechanical and worried it might require toooo much technical skill and or tools, but that was not the case. This unit is a heavy duty mother!! No flimsy metal. The instructions were clear, and their toll free help line answered a technical question. All in all, a very good value and totally user friendly.

This is a great way to keep a wall-mounted TV screen as close to the wall as possible. The only problem I encountered is it sits in between two studs in the wall and the center of the mount (VM 400) is offset from the center of the box by over 4 inches. There is absolutely no adjustment from left to right to center the TV on a wall without relocating studs. So buyer beware if left to right positioning is critical.

The wall mount is small and easy to mount. It allows the TV to fit very close to the wall, but also comes with spacers in case your TV needs to be a little further from the wall. Once mounted, it can't be adjusted. I suggest puting 1 screw in the middle of the plate, using a level to make it straight and then tightening the first screw in place. All-in-all, these wall mounts are just a simple piece of metal and it seems silly to spend much money on them.

This small-screen LCD mount was very simple to install with straightforward instructions and has two main features (in my opinion):



1. It mounts the tv extremely close to the wall (.5"); and

2. it can be mounted solidly in drywall only (no need to mount tv on a stud). This gives much greater flexibility in locating the television.



All of the included hardware worked as promised. Note that this item does not tilt, swivel, etc. Also comes in silver.

Good strong mount. Tight to the wall, ½ inch thick. Easy to mount, I used it for a 15 inch LCD in the kitchen. It mounts flat to the wall with no adjustments which was fine for my application. I used the VM-1 in my bedroom (hold 50lbs.) which is fully adjustable and is also a great product.

I bought this online after having seen it in a large retailer store for more than twice the price. This is a snap to put together. We had the TV up in just a few minutes. It came with plenty of options for screws/bolts and we were easily able to find the right ones to match our new Panasonic 50".



This a great deal and a very sturdy product. I was surprised at how solid all of the construction was, the pictures don't do it justice.
